Thames Towpath King’s Meadow, Reading will be host to the start of the race, whilst providing the necessary facilities for competitors and crew in the race village. Competitors will race along the Thames Towpath until the finish line at the Holiday Inn at Shepperton. Water check points will be stationed every 10 miles throughout the course and runners will experience a variety of interesting sights along the route which include Windsor Castle and Windsor Bridge. Only the toughest will make it to the finish! We would like to ensure that all competitors compete on an equal basis, therefore exact route information will be provided to competitors when they arrive. There may also be further markings in the form of signposts and way markings along the route where deemed necessary. However, in order to complete this event successfully, competitors must have fair orienteering skills.
